Say what happened and tell stories
You can already introduce yourself, talk about today and hold a basic conversation. Level 2 gives you the words and the grammar to go further, but more than that, it gives you a space to speak. Past tense is the thread, but the real goal is telling your own stories, hearing other people's, and actually using the language, not just learning it. Eight weeks, a small group, the next real step.
What you'll do
From grammar to stories
Every week combines a short video lesson you watch in your own time with a live Tuesday evening Zoom where you put it all into practice: speaking, listening and building confidence with Jane and a small group of people on the same journey.
Watch the video lesson
20–30 minutes video, recorded by Jane. Watch it whenever suits you during the week. This is your preparation for Tuesday.
Join the live Zoom
Every Tuesday 6–7pm Irish time. This is where you speak. Jane doesn't lecture, she listens, responds, and corrects warmly in the flow of conversation.
Weekly voice challenge
A short WhatsApp prompt every week. One minute of spoken Irish in your own time. Small habit but a big difference over 8 weeks.
What you'll cover over 8 weeks

Story-based Learning: simple stories and personal anecdotes

An Irish course to teach you how to actually speak
Small group. Real attention.
Maximum 15 students in the live cohort. Jane knows your name and hears your voice every week. You won't get lost in a crowd or left behind.
Speaking from session one.
No passive listening. Every Tuesday you speak Irish, that's the whole point.
A teacher who grew up speaking Irish.
Jane grew up in the Gaeltacht. She didn't just study Irish, she grew up surrounded by the language and culture.
Songs, poems and proverbs.
You'll learn songs in Irish, use stories to practise grammar and pick up 8 proverbs along the way.
Frequently Asked Questions
Level 2 builds directly on Level 1. If you haven't done it with Jane but already have equivalent basics (greetings, everyday vocabulary, basic understanding of the language) you're welcome too.
The first sessions ease back in gently before moving into new ground. A quick refresh of Level 1 material is included. If you'd like extra revision beforehand, the self-paced Level 1 course is a great way to brush up in your own time before Level 2 starts.
Jane asks that you come to as many sessions as possible, that's where the real progress happens. If you miss one, you'll still get the vocabulary notes and WhatsApp voice challenge for that week.
No, live places are limited and allocated at enrolment.
Level 3 launches in April 2027. Students who complete Level 2 will get priority booking.
